Gentel has numerous proprietary assays in development and is continuously developing new array technologies. These products are sold directly to customers or through distribution partnerships with qualified life science suppliers. Gentel also develops and manufactures custom products for others to sell under their own label.

Gentel's assay development capabilities include reagent procurement, cross-talk analysis, and assay validation. Gentel can also provide high-density arrays to measure hundreds of proteins in a single sample. Protein arrays are printed at Gentel using non-contact piezoelectric microarray spotters housed in a Class 10,000 clean room.

In addition to its product offering, Gentel provides customers with assay design and development services and as well as fee-for-sample testing services. All biological samples are handled in a state-of-the-art BSL2 facility under GLP. Using Gentel's automated platform, up to 500 patient samples per day can be processed with many replicates in a fully automated, quantitative fashion, including standard curves.

Microarray data is processed at Gentel using a suite of proprietary software tools that include image processing, outlier detection and quality control, standard curve analysis, and calculation of protein concentration, LOD and LOQ. Data is delivered through a secure FTP site. Software modules are integrated from array design, printing, and QC through sample handling and data delivery to verify data integrity and quality.
