Array Development Scientist
We are seeking an Array Development Scientist to develop and perform multiplex immunoassays, develop standard operating procedures, and participate in the product development process.
A B.S. in life sciences is required along with a minimum of two (2) years of industrial lab experience with knowledge of ELISA, ELISA-like assays, proteins and/or basic immunological techniques. Applicant must be familiar with the tools and requirements for development of multiplexed antibody-based assay products. The individual should also possess excellent troubleshooting skills, computer skills, and attention to detail as well strong written and spoken communications skills, and the ability to take direction in a quickly-changing environment with aggressive timelines. ls, and the ability to take direction in a quickly-changing environment with aggressive timelines.
Array Printing Scientist
We are seeking a Array Printing Scientist for our protein microarray production group in Madison, WI. This highly-technical, hands-on scientist will be responsible for the manufacture of protein microarrays, microarray design, technical support, and ensuring compliance with all quality control SOPs. Duties include, but are not limited to: implementing new designs and processes to support high-quality manufacturing of protein arrays; developing schedules and timelines based on company priorities; participating in continuous improvement programs for existing products; ordering reagents and other materials to insure adequate and cost-effective inventory is maintained; following existing Standard Operating Procedures for array production; and creating any necessary SOPs as required.
A B.S. in Analytical or Life Sciences required; advanced degree highly desirable. Five (5) years laboratory and two (2) years of microarray printing experience; arraying instrumentation experience highly desirable. Experience in immunoassay, high-throughput liquid handling, or microarray technology is highly desirable. Strong organizational, analytical, computer and interpersonal skills required. Experience working in a manufacturing process, particularly GMP, is highly preferred. This position requires working in a clean room environment and the ability to lift 30 lbs.
