APiX™ Cancer Biomarker Array Kit, 1-Color

Figure 2. Heatmap ratios of serum proteins in cancer vs. normal samples. Normal, BPH, Stage II, Stage III and Stage IV male prostate cancer serum samples and Normal, stage III, and stage IV female breast cancer serum samples were labeled, and processed at 1:100 and 1:2500 final dilutions on the APiX Cancer Biomarker Array per the user protocol. Arrays were scanned using a Tecan LS Reloaded scanner, and the images analyzed using ArrayVision. Data are shown as base-2 log transformed RFU ratios of diseased to normal sera processed at a 1:100 final dilution (left); for those analytes that were at or near signal saturation, data is shown on the right for those samples diluted 1:2500. Values between 1 and -1 are not considered as significant changes. Values greater than 1 indicate the protein concentration of the sample serum is increased by more than 100 % relative to the reference serum; whereas a value of less than -1 indicate at least a 50% decrease relative to the reference serum.
Usage Notes
The APiX™ Cancer Biomarker Array Kit is designed to be used in conjunction with the SIMplex™ multiplexing system (available separately from Gentel® Biosciences). The system is available in either 16 or 64 well configurations, is easy to use and is reusable. Eliminate broken slides, unreliable fasteners and leaky gaskets with the SIMplex™ multiplexing system.
