Sensitive one-color protein labeling and fluorescent detection system
Gentel's PANDEIA™ [pan-dey-uh] protein labeling kit is designed to label serum, plasma, or whole cell lysate samples for probing against an antibody array printed on a PATH® protein microarray slide. PANDEIA features cis-platinum labeling technology called the Universal Linkage System (ULS™). ULS chemistry labels complex protein samples by specifically coupling fluorescein haptens to histidine and methionine residues. The relative abundance of proteins is detected and measured using anti-fluorescein antibody-DY™ 647 conjugate. The PANDEIA kit includes everything needed to label up to sixteen samples.

PANDEIA chemistry allows rapid and simple labeling of proteins in serum, plasma, or whole cell lysates.The kit is designed to label up to 16 protein samples with a fluorescein tag.Sufficient labeling reagent is provided to measure the relative abundance of proteins from 16 samples on a PATH®plus slide using Gentel's SIMplex™16 multiplexing system. Advantages of the ULS labeling system include minimizing background by using indirect fluorescent measurements, labeling multiple amino acids, and no need for additional materials or reagents.
