PANDEIA Array™ Cancer Biomarker Kit
The PANDEIA Array™ Cancer Biomarker Kit measures the relative abundance of 46 human cancer-related proteins in 8 serum samples simultaneously. This single-capture antibody array and protein labeling system is validated to show the detectable and specific capture of target proteins in serum to ensure that you obtain reliable results.
- Reliable profiling data of 46 cancer proteins per serum sample
- A complete kit with a pre-printed array and labeling reagents
- Cost-effective per sample processing
- Compatibility with standard microarray scanners
Figure 1. Cross Reactivity Heat Map. Purified antigens were spiked individually into FBS at or above normal physiological concentrations and labeled per the user protocol. Labeled solutions were then applied separately to individual arrays containing all of the capture antibodies. Percent cross reactivity was determined by dividing the signal produced by an antibody bound to a non-specific protein by the signal produced by an antibody bound to its specific protein multiplied by 100. Note: cross reactivity for PSA (total) and free PSA is to be expected. PSA antibody detects both free PSA and PSA bound to alpha-1-antichymotrypsin. The PSA antigen used contains a mixture of these 2 forms; therefore, free PSA also detects the PSA antigen.

Figure 2. Heatmap ratios of serum proteins in cancer vs. normal samples. Normal, BPH, Stage II, Stage III and Stage IV male prostate cancer serum samples and Normal, stage III, and stage IV female breast cancer serum samples were labeled, and processed at 1:100 and 1:2500 final dilutions on the PANDEIA Array Cancer Biomarker Kit per the user protocol. Arrays were scanned using a Tecan LS Reloaded scanner, and the images analyzed using ArrayVision. Data are shown as base-2 log transformed RFU ratios of diseased to normal sera processed at a 1:100 final dilution (left); for those analytes that were at or near signal saturation, data is shown on the right for those samples diluted 1:2500. Values between 1 and -1 are not considered as significant changes. Values greater than 1 indicate the protein concentration of the sample serum is increased by more than 100 % relative to the reference serum; whereas a value of less than -1 indicate at least a 50% decrease relative to the reference serum.
Usage Notes
The PANDEIA Array™ Cancer Biomarker Kit is designed to be used in conjunction with the SIMplex™ multiplexing system (available separately from Gentel Biosciences). The system is available in either 16 or 64 well configurations, is easy to use and is reusable. Eliminate broken slides, unreliable fasteners and leaky gaskets with the SIMplex™ multiplexing system.
