Commonly used detection methods such as fluorescence and conventional colorimetric detection cannot provide adequate sensitivity and precision for quantitative multiplexed analysis of many proteins. The SilverQuant® Detection Kit provides an ultra-sensitive detection option for use with a wide variety of array-based assays that use biotin-based detection.

SilverQuant® Detection enables robust multiplexed protein assays with superior sensitivity compared to bead-based systems and fluorescence-based microarrays. Silver deposition avoids problems normally associated with other detection methods such as spot blooming and signal instability. Each microplate well can contain as many as several hundred highly localized array spots that can be archived for years.
