Sample Processing Services

Gentel's sample testing service is a fast and convenient way to obtain multi-analyte protein analysis using single drop volumes of sample by simply selecting the panels of interest, shipping samples and receiving confidential data reports.

Many researchers do not have the time, resources or expertise to process multiplexed protein arrays. We offer sample preparation and processing of complex biological specimens on a wide variety of panel menus covering numerous study areas with our SilverQuant® technology platform. If you want to take advantage of the power of multiplex immunoassays in your studies, but don't want to spend effort and money on expensive instrumentation then just talk to us. Our scientists will process and analyze your samples on the arrays that you choose and deliver comprehensive multiplex immunoassay data.

Benefits of Gentel Multiplexed Immunoassays

  • Validated high quality data: Internal controls and customized analysis software ensures each sample on every assay performs to expected criteria. Each test marker for all assays contain between 3 – 5 individual replicate reads within a well for each sample, ensuring the highest certainty of measurements.
  • Economical: The power of multiplexing maximizes the amount of data obtained from each sample. Instead of obtaining a single data point from each sample, 10's to 1000's can be observed from a single sample. Multiple ELISA's or Western Blots can be replaced with a single Gentel multi-analyte immunoassay for practically the same cost.
  • Picogram sensitivity and large dynamic range: Gentel SilverQuant® detection system delivers industry leading levels of sensitivity when compared to ELISA, other planar array platforms or bead-based assays. Each analyte is evaluated in multiplex for level of detection and levels of quantitation to ensure readings are accurate and samples are being assayed at the correct dilution levels.
  • Precision and consistency to clinical standards: Gentel SilverQuant® detection system also offers industry leading multiplexed consistency, delivering ELISA levels of reproducibility. All analytes for each assay are developed and tested for optimal sample replicate consistency within and between experiments. Values for consistency vary between analytes but are validated between 5–20% CV.
  • Low sample volume: Due to the high level of sensitivity of the SilverQuant® development platform, sample requirements are minimal. Most assays require far less than 100 µL for measurement. Additionally, the multiplexed nature of the assays, eliminates redundant testing of traditional single analyte plateforms, further reducing overall sample requirements.
  • Automation: Batch sample assay processing can be automated with appropriate sample numbers, further improving reproducibility of processes ensuring additional consistency of data.
  • Flexibility of numerous high density panel menus: A wide variety of panels are available for sample processing. Additionally, all Gentel kit products are available for service sample testing. Custom panels to your particular set of analytes of interest or proprietary content can be implemented for sample processing using Gentel custom assay development service. Your custom panel menus can also in turn be purchased in off-the-shelf kit form containing all the materials and reagents required for use in your own lab with the low cost GR8 scanner and software available from Gentel.
  • Collaboration so your data is useful and easy to understand
